Tax Debt and Consumer Debt Lawyer

My office has helped many clients discharge, control, settle or otherwise simply get rid of  millions of dollars in consumer, business and tax debt using bankruptcy, offer in compromise, audit reconsideration and other legal techniques.

I attend many hours of continuing legal education related to tax and bankruptcy law each year, and belong to organizations consisting of other lawyers and professionals that provide me with a network of ideas, support and the latest in legal solutions and information.

Personalized Representation

Each case and each client is unique.  There is no substitute for an attorney who is knowledgeable about you, your situation and the law that applies to both. I personally analyze, prepare and argue each case as a result.  I personally communicate with clients throughout the case on important issues and questions.   I limit the cases I take.  This is not a “mill”.   I know through experience, that the type of attention each case receives from an experienced attorney,  can make a very large difference in the success of the case.  It can also reduce the overall cost to the client.

Honest Evaluation

I don’t tell potential clients what they want to hear in order to “sell” legal services.  Honest evaluation and discussion about what the client really wants to achieve and what the client can achieve will sometimes result in finding a solution that does not include our services, or any legal services…the truth is, that is fine.  The best solution for the client is the absolute priority.

For most legal work, I try to set a reasonable flat fee.

Free Phone Discussion

As you may have gathered, I prefer to speak to people on the phone before making a typical consult or work meeting appointment.  If I am not available when the call is made, I will call back.  Questions are asked and answered, some direction is provided, and a decision is made about whether further meeting time is necessary.  I have provided this type of phone help to a few thousand Arizonans over the years, and each time it has been free.

Secure Paperless Office

The office is a paper”less”.  All documents are digitally stored and backed up securely.  This allows me to practice from wherever there is an internet connection.  Phone calls, faxes, email and voicemail go  everywhere I go….almost.  This is all in an attempt to help the office work more efficiently, maintain a smaller client base and thereby increase the level of service and personal attention I can give.

Positive Experience 

I want clients to feel that we did our best and to pass that on to their friends and family.  I want clients to feel respected and encouraged by our association with one another.

Planning is Usually the Key to Success

I believe that with some careful planning and patience, the law will provide a positive solution.  Many consumers are better off if they use time and planning to their advantage. Rushing headlong into a perceived solution works sometimes, but can also be a recipe for long term failure.
